December 6, 2022 (Edmond, OK) – The Oklahoman’s annual Top Workplaces employee recognition program announces Oklahoma ER & Hospital as a “Top Workplace for 2022” based on employee feedback from an engagement survey measuring the culture.
Every year The Oklahoman, the state’s largest daily newspaper, partners with Top Workplaces to allow current employees to honor their place of work with the recognition of being one of the top places to work based on company culture and their level of dedication to having a people-first environment. The employees provide anonymous feedback on the company in a 24-question survey capturing four areas – align, connect, coach, performance – which is used in comparison to the industry’s best-in-class data.
Oklahoma ER & Hospital took home the award for the third best place to work out of the hundreds of companies that applied in the small business category – companies of 34 to 124 employees in the state of Oklahoma. The specialty hospital was honored to participate alongside 47 qualifying small business contenders, such as Delaware Nation Industries and Investments and PaceButler Corporation, who also placed in the top three.
The facility takes pride in being recognized as a top employer in the community, noted by employees for its unique and engaging work environment that prioritizes all—from healthcare professionals to administrative staff.
“Our employees are the driving force of our hospital and I am extremely proud and grateful to be a part of it. We have created a gift that no other hospital can compete with and that is our culture!” said Judy Farrar, Chief Nursing Officer at Oklahoma ER & Hospital.
The diligent and hardworking efforts of the staff are reflected in the expert team’s unwavering commitment to quality care and service provided. Oklahoma ER & Hospital remains the go-to, 24-hours emergency room and hospital for the community.
